Dharamsala, 6th September 2024: In a momentous occasion filled with joy and purpose, the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Shri Pema Khandu, alongside the Hon’ble Minister of Education, Shri Pasang Sona, and other esteemed dignitaries, attended the “Tenshug” ceremony for His Holiness the Dalai Lama. The event, held at the Namgyal Tantric College in Dharamsala, was hosted by the people of Monyul, Arunachal Pradesh.

During his tour, the focus also turned to the ongoing work surrounding SEE (Social, Emotional, and Ethical) Learning in Arunachal Pradesh. Discussions highlighted the efforts of the International Institute for Culture & Ethics, with the support of SEE Learning India and the Department of Karmik and Adhyatmik Affairs (DoKAA), Government of Arunachal Pradesh. For several years, these organizations have been diligently working to implement SEE Learning programs across the state.
The Hon’ble Education Minister, Shri Pasang Sona, expressed his enthusiasm for the swift, statewide implementation of SEE Learning, underscoring the government’s commitment to the program. Shri Jambey Wangdi, Chairman, and Shri Kalden la, along with their entire DoKAA team, were commended for their unwavering support in bringing this initiative to life.
The SEE Learning Himalayas and India committee expressed optimism that the success in Arunachal Pradesh would inspire other states across India and beyond to adopt similar programs, aiming to educate both the hearts and minds of future generations.
The event concluded with special thanks extended to the officials and staff of Namgyal Tantric College for their meticulous arrangements, ensuring a memorable and meaningful ceremony.
