Flowering Dharma initiated a project of ‘Cataloguing & Digitalisation of Rich Manuscripts’ from 2020 onwards in collaboration with 11 Monasteries as ‘Committee for Monastic Welfare & Development’. Many of these Manuscripts are more than 800 years old and needs to be studied and preserved through Cataloguing, Digitalisation and other means. On 1st October the project was initiated at Sankar Gonpa in their Collobration. Sankar Gonpa is a sister monastery of Spituk Monastery and the residence of the Abbot of Spituk, the Venerable Kushok Bakula, who is the senior incarnate lama. We are extremely thankful to the Ministry of Culture, Govt of India for supporting the cause.
