Marking another milestone in the memorable journey of the year, the Flowering Dharma team had an official meeting with Geshe Konchok Wangdus Lay (Director and trustee) at The Central Institute for Buddhist Studies, Leh. The meeting was regarding the new initiative undertaken by the organization as a grant project, ’The Ladakh International Cultural Center.’
The team comprised of all the interns and following executive members:

- Lobsang Wangmu
- Rigzin Spalgon
They met with Geshe Lay on the 27th of June, 2018 at CIBS, Leh. The primary aim of meeting was to discuss about the upcoming Ladhak International Cultural Center and seek his advice on the same. During the meeting Geshe Lay talked about the importance of having a long term and wide sought vision that enables better furthering of one’s objectives. He also spoke about constantly attempting to give back to the society through all activities undertaken by the organization and the importance of preserving and upholding the Indian tradition of helping others.
