- [Out Station Study Retreat Programme - Bir :  Oct 2017](https://floweringdharma.org/2017/11/05/out-station-study-retreat-programme-bir-oct-2017/): A week long outstation study retreat was held at the Deer Park Institute on Bodhicitta led by Ven. Geshe Dorji Damdul, Director Tibet House, Cultural Center of HH the Dalai Lama. The delegates also discussed with the DC-Leh about adoption of eco-friendly living at the center through use of solar light, solar water heater etc. and also about high speed internet connections which are recommended by the Hill Council-Leh for the center.

Taste of SEE learning Workshop was conducted as a part of the MoU between the Institute and Flowering Dharma, according to which the CIHCS agreed to conduct the SEE learning activities as a pilot project for Arunachal Pradesh. Upon meeting, His Holiness suggested the team to work towards preservation of Nalanda Tradition (Indian Wisdom Tradition) and offered a Statue of Buddha as a souvenir .
